Big Deal | Sold for $15,400,000

A 25-foot-wide Upper East Side town house that underwent a two-year gut renovation was the highest sale of the week, at $15.4 million, city property records show.

The town house, which has four bedrooms and 10,200 square feet of space, according to Sotheby’s, was listed for $19 million last September. At 162 East 92nd Street, between Lexington and Third Avenues, it went into contract in June, according to Streeteasy.com. It last sold in 2007 for $6.3 million, when it was configured as three apartments, according to property records.

The sellers, Christopher B. O’Malley and Wendy Flanagan, also renovated and sold a town house at 26 East 73rd Street; they bought it for $6.5 million in 1999 and sold it for $18 million in 2007. The buyer of the 92nd Street house was listed under a limited liability company. Big Ticket includes closed deals from the previous week, ending Wednesday.
